Digital Fingerprinting available through PearsonVue.com

Firefighter II, Retention and Firesafety Inspector applicants may now have their fingerprints taken and submitted electronically. In order to use this service, you must;

Submit your certification application at www.floridastatefirecollege.org


At www.PearsonVue.com and from the Home page, click on Test Taker Services: Choose #1 View All or Government/State Regulated/Federal Government; and #2 from the scroll down list, select the Florida Department of Financial Services. Scroll down to find Fingerprint Reservation and click it. You will not be able to schedule the exam until you complete the fingerprinting.

To schedule a reservation, choose online or by telephone and then follow the steps. From Application Details, select the agency Fire -Standards and Training, select GO. Enter the zip code, choose location and time and then complete the applicant information and pay the processing fee.

Please include a copy of your Candidate Fingerprint Receipt with the date and TCN number to the Bureau of Fire Standards, along with your application. If you have already submitted your application, please fax to 352-732-1374 or mail a copy of your receipt.
